Rajat Gupta is a techpreneur with a strong expertise in media, technology. In current role he is heading programmatic media buying practice for Ogilvy and manage multi-million dollar spends for clients like IBM, Honda, Accor. He is also leading the mobile practice and is handling enterprise clients like Sage and helping them with user acquisition, product and user analytics in various countries like US, UK.
In earlier avataar he headed marketing for LINE India and was instrumental in taking LINE messaging app from zero to 50 plus million users. He was also a founder of a startup Planet GoGo that developed a publishing platform for content discovery to make data plan affordable. Venture was seed funded by Hindustan Times and North Base Media.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (CSE) from IIIT Hyderabad. He has published research papers in the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining and IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing.
Rajat has also given talks on emerging business opportunities at various forums like – Mobile Marketing Association, Nasscom Gaming Conference, Mobile Monday and Startup Saturday.
